The Pärnu Year Runs are inspired by the Eastern calendar and dedicated each year to the symbol animal of that year. This year features the Year of the Snake run, consisting of nine stages, visiting three locations, where each location will be run through three times. The stages offer various distance options: on April 29, the 1500-meter run will kick off in Pärnu Vallikäär, on June 10, the route will follow the beach promenade for a 3000-meter distance, and the season will conclude with a 5000-meter run taking place on August 19 in Reiu-Raeküla Pine Forest. Free children’s runs will be held during all stages, and participants who complete at least six stages will receive a dragon-themed medal at the end of the season.
